The proposed set of models (Mario, luigi and the other Era models) part of my idea for a "yoshifan001 workflow model pack to help get him started in blender journey" were retooled into separate Blender releases.

After the first Yoshi blender model was confirmed from dms and replies on twitter to crash when opened on yoshifan001's computer (even without alterations), I scrapped the "yoshifan001 workflow model pack" idea in my mind.

This was interestingly because, my Yoshi model was the first model proposed to yoshifan001 himself long ago. At one point, if successful, there were plans for a model pack consisting of Mario characters (aside from Yoshi) for him to help get him started in his Blender journey.

Adding on to this, most of the models use rgb proceedual materials alongside texture masks for things like emblems, eye textures and overall textures etc, to make things easier for some withoutt having to rely on photoshop/photo apps for retexturing stuff entirely.

Interestingly, 90% of my Yoshi/Mario models (sans ports of other people's models) are FK (meaning not meant for animation, but only for posing/renders) alongside being Blender exclusive (meaning that they arent meant to be used outside of Blender).

While the original source material references comedy, the parody art instead takes a rather unfunny jab towards how I created, rendered (& in a way, modeled despite it being 3d asset kitbashing) my sona and the Yoshi ocs that were initially made for the Yoshi community.

#FluffaFurries Fun fact: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has a form of jiggle bones referred to internally as "Swing Bones", which you can freely add onto most if not all characters. King K Rool usually only uses this for his cape, so I tried adding physics from Olimar's antenna in his belly... ...Whoops

Random anecdote: Mario's model in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is unaltered in his cap and facial hair topology, being the same triangle count as they were in his Brawl model. Mario's head is edited from his GameCube/Wii era model, while his body is edited from his model in Melee. Cuter Mario, anyone?

Comparison of Mario's head from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Mario's face in Ultimate is nearly identical to his model from Brawl aside from having extra geometry added to his mouth and ears among other low-detail areas, with only his brown hair being the most expensive change in triangle count.

Same as the former image, but Mario's eyebrows on both models were altered to match the shape of his common GameCube/Wii era model.
Making Mario's facial expression appear less aggressive and more relaxed.

I made this render recently, around September 2026 iirc. The materials + lighting setup used in this model are actually reused & tweaked from the "Super mario 3d world" inspired shaders found inside the blend files of my Wii U era Mario, Luigi and Yoshi models.
