Well,
Steven Roth, the chief executive of Vornado Realty Trust, used an earnings call on Tuesday to castigate Mayor Zohran Mamdani of New York for his "tax-the-rich" rhetoric, which he likened to a racial slur or a pro-Palestinian rallying cry.
"I must say that I consider the phrase 'tax the rich' - quote, tax the rich - when spit out with anger and contempt by politicians both here and across the country, to be just as hateful as some disgusting racial slurs and even the phrase, 'from the river to the sea,
!?" Mr. Roth said, referring to the pro-Palestinian phrase that some Jews believe amounts to a call for ethnic cleansing.

Nearly half of Arizona’a SNAP participants have been booted off. www.propublica.org/article/ariz...
More than 400,000 Arizonans have lost their
SNAP benefits since July — the largest decline in the nation by a wide margin — as an underfunded state agency administered changes called for in President Donald Trump's so-called One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
The drop represents nearly 47% of the state's participants in the program better known as food stamps and includes about 180,000 children, according to the Arizona Department of Economic Security, which administers the
program.

Now, given the first letter there, I don't think that's what "J-pilled" likely means, is it?

@nymag.com @alexshultz.bsky.social reporting that while Eleanor Holmes Norton has been showing steep signs of mental decline, she is suddenly loaning a large amount of money to her campaign — which only pays her campaign manager / treasurer / confidant and one adviser. nymag.com/intelligence...
Screenshot: “Over the same period that Norton's decline became readily apparent, she started loaning significant amounts of money to her campaign for the first time in her political career. Between October 2023 and June 2025, according to a review of documents filed with the Federal Election Commission, shes given her campaign $110,000. The campaign is essentially out of donors and cash on hand and is regularly paying only two people: Pelt and a man named Jeremiah Pope, an adviser for the campaign since 2015.
(He did not respond to multiple requests for comment.)
Pelt has apparently assumed some degree of oversight regarding Norton's private affairs.
When Norton was scammed at her home in October, the ensuing police report described a
"caretaker/power of attorney" — Pelt, according to NBC4 Washington — as the person who headed to the residence and alerted police after discovering the scammers by remotely accessing a security camera.”

After four months of a near-total Israeli siege, Gaza's few remaining hospitals now have wards for the growing number of malnourished children whose tiny bodies are just the width of their bones.
Doctors are famished to the point that they have dizzy spells as they make their rounds, medics say, and the journalists documenting their caseloads are often too weak to even walk to the clinics.

While this isn't great, the AI summary isn't usually summarizing the page I'm looking for (and the links aren't that obvious) -- the more relevant stat from the report is that is cuts all link clicks in half.
Google users who encounter an AI summary are less likely to click on links to other websites than users who do not see one. Users who encountered an AI summary clicked on a traditional search result link in 8% of all visits. Those who did not encounter an AI summary clicked on a search result nearly twice as often (15% of visits).

As mayor he certainly never asked for a handout! His employees even made sure he paid “somewhat real” prices for Turkish Air flights!
How much does he owe?

Okay.
Thank you.

ICE is using military funds to build tent complexes at the border. This company stands to profit: www.propublica.org/article/trum...
“In March, one of the company's tent complexes in El Paso, Texas, was handed over to ICE, CBP and ICE spokespeople said. In an unusual move, the Trump administration tapped funds from the Department of Defense to pay Deployed for the facility, citing the president's declaration of an emergency at the southern border, a DOD spokesperson said.
The nearly $140 million contract wasn't posted publicly and was given to Deployed as the "incumbent contractor," the spokesperson said, without further explaining why ICE would use military funds. ICE said it started transferring detainees to the site - which currently has the capacity to house 1,000 adults - on March 10.”
