Down with Love is an homage to 1960s sex comedies whose existence is a small miracle. How did this get made? I would like to thank them. I'm voting for Fire Island because it feels like an even bigger miracle. So cozy and romantic and hilarious and updated. It draws you in and invites you to stay.

Say what you will about The Truth About Charlie, the Charade remake. It's disjointed, and feels very rushed. I would be interested in a podcast going into what happened there. But, Thandiwe is such a good pick in the Audrey Hepburn role. How she is in a cab with a stemmed glass of wine is hilarious.

The Sure Thing is going to get squished. Like French Kiss, it's dvd only so is harder to get hold of to watch. Both were played a lot on TBS back when.
