If there are any, like me, fans of the author Dan Brown, I would like to inform you that his new book The Secret of Secrets has been released. It follows the traditions of Robert Langdon, fast paced. It is available from Amazon at $Aud30.00. I just ordered mine.

DCL must pull his socks up. Pirou no better.

I'm dreading how far we will tumble down the scale as the results come in from the other games. Man U 1 v Sunderland 0 after 8 mins.

Schmik (LUFC) @schmik.bsky.social · 04/10/2025

IMO DCL could have (should have) a couple today. Over all not happy with the result, but generally happy with the way we played. Spurs are a top club, we should remember that. Gives me hope for when we play lesser opposition/

Wanted the win, disappointed with the draw, but not doing my nut. I don't know why Farke has us defending a lead when we are coping with the opposition. I have to blame him for the loss. Still, we showed fight when we were behind, when we were equal, and then when we were in front. Defensive shit.

A brilliant win in Hungary for Niko Springer. A magnificent tournament all round.

Get iptv. At least you have many more options. I saw a post last week that Stan was 10 mins behind live. I was with Optus the year before last and it was shit. That was why they sold it to Stan I reckon.

How are you watching mate. I'm in Oz, and I had to go to NZ to find a stream. All the sky were f**ked and the LeedsTV was none existant for me.

Darlow looks increasingly competent in goal, he was my motm, although that's hard to say when looking at the goals. Stach's free kick was a blinder. So happy, I can go to bed feeling relaxed.

Schmik (LUFC) @schmik.bsky.social · 20/09/2025

All 3 goals were excellent IMO. Loved the first half but was a bit disappointed with the second. I didn't like the way Farke made us defend. Although Wolves had to attack vigorously, we could deal with that, as we did in the first half. Love the 3 points though, we are now 7th.

One has to say that MvG showed a lot of determination, not only in the final, but in the whole tournament. There was some brilliant darts thrown by all players. A very good watch.

Why elect a right-wing party, when all the troubles in the world are being caused by right-wing parties? It just doesn't make sense.

Schmik (LUFC) @schmik.bsky.social · 09/09/2025

Remember the name 'Toure', because his name will come forward the same as Irankunda's has at Watford. I don't know why Leeds are against young Aussie players because we've had a few in the past.

Taking my seat in the theatre. Please let the actors play their role in accordance with Daniel's script. We have a fine troupe, albeit missing a superstar. Will the audience applaude; or will tomatoes be thrown? The stage is set....

Schmik (LUFC) @schmik.bsky.social · 02/09/2025

I have to disagree. The players are our biggest asset. It's Farke's duty to manage them in a way that provides us with the best chance of scoring. Have faith in our players.

We've now got a couple of weeks before we play Fulham and the Wolves. Farke should be able to knock some more tactics into the team by then. Both of those games are away, but both teams are below us, and we should be able to pick up some valuable points.

010

Schmik (LUFC) @schmik.bsky.social · 30/08/2025

Well, a totally new game with very new players. I am impressed with the way Farke has turned this team out. As we develop and partnerships start to manifest themselves, I think we'll become more dangerous. Did we have any passengers today? I didn't notice any standouts. Happy.

010

Schmik (LUFC) @schmik.bsky.social · 30/08/2025

I am satisfied with the way we are playing, Of course things could be better, but I think we are holding them. I have some misgivings that Nmecha could have done better. But it's a big improvement on Arsenal.

I'm not sure the calibre of 'talent' we have brought in will be sufficent to keep us up. The 5-0 drubbing can be excused as a 'learning curve', but those goals can play heavily against us towards the end of the season. Every second of every game is important. I want us to stay up.

000

Schmik (LUFC) @schmik.bsky.social · 26/08/2025

There was great debate last season whether Farke would make it in PL. We said give him a chance, he deserves it. He has now got his chance. How long should we give him? Another result like Saturday should be his last. We sacked Bielsa for the same reason. Farke is no Bielsa.

It's about time for a UN Peace Keeping and Peace Enforcing Task Force to be deployed to Palestine. If violence is the only thing Israelis understand, then violence should be given to them.

this is not the Everton we played last week. Must be the opulence of their new stadium. Which looks schmik by the way.

Remember the kid I told you about 18 months ago. His name is Nesteroy Irakunda. Well he now plays for Watford. And look what he did yesterday. He's the coloured kid who scores from a free kick 20m out. Have a look... www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8hR...

Well I guess after that, we have to go home, pull our socks up, and get ready for Newcastle next week. I just hope that Farke drills some spunk into the players. I hated the way we played in the first half, 'cos I really thought we'd put up more of a fight.

Now we'll see what Perri is made of.

I didn't expect a vintage performance. But I think the first half was the worst I have seen since Marche was in charge.

I'm not sure that Perri has been that much of an improvement on the other two.

000

Schmik (LUFC) @schmik.bsky.social · 23/08/2025

I think Farke is trying out our 'old' players to see who can handle the top team, Gnonto has run his heart out but has had no effect whatsoever. Bogel has picked up a bit from a shocking start. And others have been middling.

000

Schmik (LUFC) @schmik.bsky.social · 23/08/2025

This team is simply too good for us. I fear for us in the second half.

010

Schmik (LUFC) @schmik.bsky.social · 23/08/2025

Bogel seems a bit overawed to me. Got himself a yellow being rash.

Do you realise that Leeds had 8 starters from last season? I think you may be surprised when our reinforcements arrive.
