Schlorgan @schlorgan.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Been really inspired by this premise and started writing notes for it. Need to put together a writers room and pitch it to someone I guess. 100
Schlorgan @schlorgan.bsky.social · 12/09/2026This show would be about the Enterprise D with generally the same main cast, but backstories and personalities can be different to varying degrees. Maybe relations with the Klingons are different so Worf is there but not an officer (and not a jobber). 000
Schlorgan @schlorgan.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Just an idea that I think has potential, I'm kind of done with new spins on the TOS era but I'd be okay with new spins on the TNG era and setting it in the Kelvin timeline would give the writers a creative blank slate to tackle those characters and situations in a new way. 100
Schlorgan @schlorgan.bsky.social · 12/09/2026You could flesh out the Conspiracy aliens plot, you could revisit the Cardassians and Dominion, you could do a full reset on the Borg to make them a genuine threat again. You could take those characters and put them in new scenarios that you just can't do now since everyone involved is old. 100
Schlorgan @schlorgan.bsky.social · 12/09/2026The TNG/DS9/VOY era of the prime timeline is at this point fully tapped out but I think there is merit in revisiting some of that material and maybe putting a new spin on it and I think the Kelvin timeline would be the perfect place to do that without having to worry about fitting into Prime canon. 110
Schlorgan @schlorgan.bsky.social · 12/09/2026The appearance of Yor, a displaced Starfleet officer from the TNG era of the Kelvin timeline, in the third season of Star Trek Discovery really got me thinking of the potential of a series set in that era of that timeline. 200

Schlorgan @schlorgan.bsky.social · 28/08/2026That leaked, unfinished Iron Man trailer looks really good but which Marvel games are cancelled and which ones are still happening has gotten confusing 010
Schlorgan @schlorgan.bsky.social · 15/08/2026The decrepit zombie corpse of the previously defeated villain is seeking their unknowing grandchild to become the conduit for galactic domination. Season 3 of Star Trek Picard is just the plot of Rise of Skywalker but with somehow even more shameless nostalgia pandering (pretty good TV tho). 000
Schlorgan @schlorgan.bsky.social · 13/08/2026WB did that really terrible AI ad for End of Oak Street so now when it underperforms people will dance on the grave and celebrate thinking it was because of the backlash to the ad when it was going to underperform anyway 010
Schlorgan @schlorgan.bsky.social · 11/08/2026The first thing I saw Kyle Chandler in, and the main thing I still associate him with, is a show from the mid to late 90's called Early Edition and despite not having seen a single second of this show in 20+ years I can recall the theme song perfectly youtu.be/EnnypDOxC9M?...youtu.beEarly Edition OpeningYouTube video by Vanquished 000
Schlorgan @schlorgan.bsky.social · 15/07/2026I wonder if after the test screening WB wanted to give The Great Beyond its own IMAX exclusivity window and a 70mm release, and the easiest way to do that was to give it Batman's, which meant pushing Batman back so it could also still have its own IMAX exclusivity window. 000

Schlorgan @schlorgan.bsky.social · 18/05/2026If the Mando reviews go how it's looking they might, LFL should really get a Starfighter teaser out just to say 'please don't write this franchise off, the real movie is still coming, promise' 000
Schlorgan @schlorgan.bsky.social · 09/04/2026My biggest issue with that movie, aside from it being a very long movie with a lot of action but all of that action being extremely boring. 000
Schlorgan @schlorgan.bsky.social · 09/04/2026Would have been cool if Dial of Destiny ended with Indy making the choice at the end to stop being obsessed with the past and focus on his future instead of that choice being made for him by someone else, making his return to the present/reunion with Marion feel completely flat and unearned. 100

Schlorgan @schlorgan.bsky.social · 03/04/2026Saw someone on TikTok saying 'Daisy Ridley is actually a great actress, the sequels just did her a disservice by being bad' and had a strong feeling of deja vu. So we're currently at that stage of the Star Wars trilogy redemption cycle. 000
