Transparent thin films of Cu-doped TiO2 nanoparticles, obtained by the mist deposition method, demonstrate high antibacterial activity upon visible light irradiation. The transparent films can be prepared in various locations at atmospheric conditions while maintaining transparency. This property contributes to the construction of a safe and secure society.
