I saw an almost completely black pigeon late afternoon/early evening yesterday and wasn’t able to take a photo of it, sadly. I wanted to so badly though. Also, how neat! I didn’t know the name of this genetic condition. Thank you for sharing with me!

I remember the snail-pocalypse of 2021 in the area after the 2020 wildfires. I’d be okay with them if they were the invasive European snail. Also, I believe the State Fish and Wildlife Department might have some info on catching them and disposing of them properly. 🫂 for the plants lost.
