However, the game is fun. people would not play it today if not. So why would we ban 52 to appeal to players who aren't playing. The people who hold their controllers today hold it because they enjoy the game. is 52 such a ruinous experience that they would put it down?

Bans are never the answer in a game that is still getting developer attention. At the time, the scene wide ban was intended to be temporary. I argued that if banned at all, it would never be lifted. Look at where we are. Imagine if we had been making more noise about screen the past 3 years.

I hate being right. 3 years ago I argued against the ban because competitive players are some of the most vocal about the game. People stopped making noise collectively about screens accessibility issues because we no longer had to face it in comp. So nothing has changed for screen.

Reminder that we wouldn't have these liter problems if we didn't ban the special Nintendo designed to counter it and instead continued to pressure them to adjust it.

I don't support banning anything, and would choose to not play if there were bans like this. I believe in playing the game as the developers intended, and would not support events with additional bans. That being said, as things stand now, I am currently looking forward to playing superjump

I have not had the chance to test for covid or flu, however I am 5 times vaxxed and had my most recent boosters in Jan. I strongly suspect I had covid in Feb 2026 most recently, with the newest variant circulating at that time. For these reasons, I suspect I have a cold.

Symptom timeline: Monday: sore throat, peaking early in the AM and better in the evening. I thought it could have been strained from cheering during grands. Tuesday: Occasional congestion and sinus pressure, 3/10 annoyance. Sore throat gone. Occasional isolated sneeze. Fatigued.

Hey! I want to say I am unfortunately sick. I suspect I got it at some point on Saturday. Unfortunately, I had a feeling with how cold I was in the lazy river, and how crowded it was, that I was going to get sick. I don't do well in cold water.
