It is Chien-Pao day! Pokedex number 1002, October 2nd (dumb american date system) 10/02. While I haven't yet played the switch games, I also haven't been a complete hater of newer Pokemon designs. Chien-Pao is the top pick for me. I absolutely love them and I'm going to share a lot of fan art today

I'm not that surprised that Capcom treated Teostra's reveal at TGS as sort of a big deal. Teo was #59 on the 20th Anniversary poll, above Seregios, Lao-Shan Lung, Gammoth, Agnaktor 92, Goss Harag 93, Gigginox 94, and other monsters that have repeatedly been on wishlists for Wilds and Ascendance.

The official Ascendance website hasn't been updated with the new weapon/armor renders for two days. Do they remember they also have a bluesky sccount they can post announcements to? Where do I apply for a social media job at Capcom???

It reminds me of an armadillo girdled lizard. Whose scientific name I just learned, Ouroborus cataphractus.

I just noticed the crystal the hunter throws at the Araketa is actually a rolled up lizard. It looks like a crystalline Gelidron
