I am used to being disappointed by boyfriends, but Team USA men's hockey and the NHL have won the gold medal in disappointment. And I have dated Olympic-level disappointing men. And hockey has always been my true love.

We're doing the thing, winning the points. The #CBJ Olympians are superb this week.

Am I feeling hockey hope? Are we truly in the Upside Down? #CBJ

As a fan of the Blue Jackets for their entire 25 years, I feel very disoriented by all this winning. #CBJ

Wait until you hear that LLMs can only train on digitized/datafied info. Most of the FACTS scholars use are in archives/libraries. Less than 1% of archival colletions worldwide have been digitized. Also: lots of facts are not even in archives, but in the attics.

Shifting the setting of Frankenstein to the 1850s enabled the inclusion of period-appropriate photography, and wet plate collodion on glass could absolutely have survived in the snow

Sometimes I go to the movies during home OSU games, but I just watched Frankenstein (a masterpiece) and it ended at the exact time that everyone is trying to leave Ohio Stadium (a master mistake).

The Dems who are apoplectic over Cuomo's loss are the same Dems who keep giving us the same old guard status quo nonsense that leads to low voter turnout and GOP wins.

My conspiracy theory is that private equity put JoAnn out of business so that it's harder for us to make our own shit during this late stage capitalist oligarchy. Maybe drop your favorite small craft business below. Eat the rich, shop local, make crafts, do crimes. ✌️

Ohio politicians plan to fund a new NFL stadium for the Browns in Brook Park with $600 Million in unclaimed funds. That money belongs to Ohio citizens, not the Haslams. Tell your friends, family, frenemies - search here and claim your funds! com.ohio.gov/divisions-an...

Unclaimed Funds

The Division of Unclaimed Funds reunites Ohioans with lost or forgotten money and property, but also works with organizations to identify those assets for reporting.

This year, I'm trying to keep my hard-earned dollars in my community instead of contributing to a huge corporation's quarterly earnings. Money talks & I started fighting capitalism with every penny. I began to repair, reuse, borrow, share, buy used, go without, or shop local whenever possible. 1/4 🧵

If you ask me, yesterday's 7-0 win over the Capitals rivals the 2019 1st-round Lighting sweep & the 2020 5-overtime Lightning loss for the most energized, unhinged, and chaotic #CBJ #BlueJackets game. I'm already anxious about our rematch tonight, my hopes are unreasonably and delusionally high.

NEH terminates grants to Ohio Humanities. Congress directly funds state humanities councils. Ohio Humanities gets about $1.8 million a year, which is redistributed as smaller grants for museum exhibitions, children's events at historic sites and oral history projects all across the state.

Ohio Humanities receives notice its federal grant funds are 'terminated'

State humanities councils were established by Congress about 50 years ago to make sure National Endowment for Humanities funds made it to smaller communities and organizations.
