Friendly reminder: Share your art. Reshare your art. You're an artist, not a content farm. Your work deserves to be seen. (unless you use genAI, then you can get bent) ✌️💕

Happy #portfolioday! Here are some of the pieces I’m proudest of, though I am definitely hoping to divulge more into other characters, other franchises, and my newest lineart/colouring/shading style

I drew Tikal! 💜 She was one of the first sonic characters I ever drew as a kid, so I hope coming back to her now did her design justice. Hope you like it! 🙇‍♀️

“bsky is boring!” 1) good 2) social media should not be a cornerstone of your everyday entertainment 3) I find new artists to follow every day and look at pretty art endlessly on here when I feel like it 4) get a tactile hobby where you create something with your hands 5) read book 6) walk outside

genuine question: who is Ryan and what did he do? I’m out of the loop

holy crap the condescending tone in how they’re talking to you is ridiculous…

“that’s a personal choice for people” UM SIR IT’S A CRIME

[ON HIATUS] scarscribbles 🤍🍄 @scarscribbles.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

same reason I left (apart from the AI stuff + constant politics and ragebaiting nonsense) trust me, it’s much better here — I have far less followers here and yet I’m getting nearly twice the engagement

020

[ON HIATUS] scarscribbles 🤍🍄 @scarscribbles.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

that was my initial reason, i won’t lie! it truly seemed like “the place to be” after tumblr’s artist scene kinda died down but then my best friend introduced me to Bluesky (didn’t know it existed) and told me Tiktok was also a better alternative and she was right. FAR more engagement here

[ON HIATUS] scarscribbles 🤍🍄 @scarscribbles.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

mmm someone who doesn’t like the concept of consent? thanks for making my decision for to block you easier lol

010

[ON HIATUS] scarscribbles 🤍🍄 @scarscribbles.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

you and me both 🤝 a lot more engagement here, and it’s not nearly as chaotic or overstimulating

000

[ON HIATUS] scarscribbles 🤍🍄 @scarscribbles.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

no for real and trust me i curated the hell out of my feed on there, but ever since Elon took over it’s become a platform literally fuelled by outrage and nonsense so yeah like you said, even the “calmest” conversations become hellish very quickly 😩 I can just chill here, meanwhile

[ON HIATUS] scarscribbles 🤍🍄 @scarscribbles.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

this says a lot about the growing degeneracy of everyday people that this even needed to be said 😭

[ON HIATUS] scarscribbles 🤍🍄 @scarscribbles.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

it’s what X used to be before CEOs and corporations and politicians and celebrities decided to make it their playground and talk down to us “peasants” 😩

000

[ON HIATUS] scarscribbles 🤍🍄 @scarscribbles.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

for real honestly i feel a lot calmer here than there around here i’m not constantly on edge that i might run into something controversial or inflammatory against my will

120

[ON HIATUS] scarscribbles 🤍🍄 @scarscribbles.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

let’s be real, most people are on twitter just to get ragebaited and call themselves the victim atp… round here, meanwhile, i quite like the fact that i don’t have to be bombarded with sociopolitical nonsense if i don’t want to 🤷🏽‍♀️

[ON HIATUS] scarscribbles 🤍🍄 @scarscribbles.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

Friend introduced me to Sonic X back in 6th Grade in 2010 when I was 10 years old , developed a super massive crush on Shadow, played Sonic 06, created OCs, etc. then veered away from the fandom once I went into highschool. The Sonic Movies are what ultimately brought me back — especially Sonic 3
