To all my VocaSynth producers who have created albums before, how do you decide on track placement? Do you go for placement that makes the music flow in one direction or have a rollercoaster flow (high energy at first, then moodier sounds after the peak) or more story aligned?

Kylie Elegy (Scarlett_Candela 紅_明り) @scarlettcandela.bsky.social · 15/10/2025

I just realized something. I don't need to release another single for my album because I'm going to make lyric videos for them anyways. 😌 But now the real question is which song from my album am I going to release specifically for MEIKO's anniversary next month? 🤔

Kylie Elegy (Scarlett_Candela 紅_明り) @scarlettcandela.bsky.social · 04/10/2025

I'm working on a cover song for the last track of my album & suddenly remembered that I had written doujin lyrics for it a long time ago (almost 10 years ago in fact). So I took a look at the lyrics, I'm comparing them to what I have now & result is. . .

About a hour ago, I did first complete listen through of my album. . . It's not bad at all! I think with how I have the tracks set up, it starts off rather strong & does the rollercoaster of emotions before ending on a hopeful note. I'm so psyched for this to be released!

Kylie Elegy (Scarlett_Candela 紅_明り) @scarlettcandela.bsky.social · 01/10/2025

I'm finally making some headway on a song that's been giving me such a bad case of writer's block. All I gotta say is "It's about damn time! Fucking song. . . You're gonna be my *least* favorite song on this album." - Me, from two days ago

My music maker dropped out of our project for Miku Expo. Damn it. I'm sympathetic to his troubles, yeah, but I'm not gonna lie & say that I'm not disappointed. Depression is a motherfucker, I know. I guess the world wasn't ready for a MEIKO post punk song. Maybe next time.
