I know this one because the indoor soccer facility I briefly attended as a kid had a cabinet. The marquee made it look even more like a fake game from a TV show.

The cabinet marquee from the arcade video game Hotdog Storm. The title is in gold Gill Sans UltraBold, and is flanked by an F-111 dropping bombs and an F-16 firing missiles, with a red and white Photoshop cloud background.

I'm very sorry Pals. Buttons seemed like a gentle and loving guy. He'll always be in your hearts and ours. ❤️ I still think of these posts and they always make me smile.

A Twitter post from Sardoose reading "I grew some wheat grass for my cat. He's legit stunned." above a photo of Buttons the cat sitting before a patch of wheat grass, looking up at the camera wide-eyed.

A photo of Buttons the cat sitting with his front paws spread and his back paws between them, with a caption from pc98jr reading "Buttons is sitting illegally"

One of my early assignments at my job was designing one of these. We used them for shipping sample rolls of fabric and wallcovering.

I got to see these houses a couple months ago.

A photo of beach houses between the Pacific Coast Highway and Santa Monica Beach in California. Of note are an ominous black house and a cheery pink, purple and white house next to each other.

Shout out to the new VGHF library for having the highest quality renders of Croc ever available on the internet archive.gamehistory.org/folder/d9444...

The full cover art of Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, showing Croc jumping off of a bouncy jelly. In the background on the left are three floating platforms with a Gobbo peeking over the nearest one, and on the right is a grassy cliff with a wooden walkway curving forward off of it.

Post a random game from your collection Saturday. I haven't played this yet because I still haven't finished Flashback after like 20 years.

Last-minute #Marchintosh shenanigans: installing the software for this ridiculous beast of a keyboard on my SE/30 The alphanumeric keys work fine as-is, I think all this driver did was enable functionality for the volume and sound recording buttons. Which are pretty handy to be fair.

I had to double back and take a picture of this.

A photo of a billboard. The right half reads SEIZETHEAWKWARD.ORG / FRIENDS SUPPORT FRIENDS / REACH OUT, TALK, CONNECT, with logos for the Ad Council, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and The Jed Foundation. On the left half is an image of Cloud and Aerith from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth high-fiving.
