Day off yesterday. Read two books for A Thing and started a third. Made minestrone soup (everything from the garden except the celery!) and turned a handful of tiny onions and a panful of beetroot into pickles. Books and growing veggies and cooking iz me.

Big pan of minestrone soup on the stove, cos it's impossible to make a small pan of minestrone soup...

A small jar of pickled onions and two small jars of pickled beetroot. Home grown and home pickled, very satisfying.
