I would like to think that Vampires and Drow have those nocturnal Eyeshine effects when a little light is shone on them in the dark. They didn’t really show it in BG3, but I would like to think it’s true.

Shadowheart: What in the worlds? I swear I heard something. *Wonders out of the camp at night, torch in hand*

After a while she hears something really close and raises the torch. Two pair of eyes shine from the darkness. The hair on the back of her neck rises.
