This is our cat. The one we thought was put down due to rabies. That was just a random cat that wandered into our house. His leg is broken in two places and will be amputated after the infection is cleared up. He's in the furnace room so he can't go outside again.

Random cat that was drinking out of the water bowl two days ago at 4 a.m. showed up again last night. It's gonna go to the vet today as soon as it's open. The front left leg looks dislocated + she's limping bad. The poor thing is covered in stickers.

So, I am now my grandma's caretaker full time. This gives me plenty of time to write. However, I am burnt out from moving and the stress of the rabies scare, so I am going to try to either take a break, but I will attempt to write at least once a day. I want to finish this manuscript dammit!!!

Alright, back on the farm since finding a job that wouldn't have me on my feet the whole time wasn't going well. Will be interviewing for an at home caretaker position in the near future. Will be writing a lot till I'm working again.

love monarchs!!!! One of my coolest memories of them is when they'd be migrating and the farm's trees would be CHOCK-FULL of them!!! (had to look up a ref of them in trees for an example)

It's the highest range cost editing what is going to be at least 150,000 words. I'm going with the highest price, so I won't be blindsided by cost if that makes sense. Basically, my prepare for the "worst" paranoia is winning.
