Just need someone there to invite me, that would be amazing actually!

To accompany my sound installation in the museum I will also be performing live next week in Rome. And it's a FREE show, no tickets needed, just turn up on the night for a special audio visual performance of 52 Spaces.

A little teaser for a forthcoming software instrument that digs into a lost world of 1980s recordings, to create a unique new sound library drawn from my personal archive of 4-track tape machines, cassette recordings, tape loops, and experimental sound-making. More soon...

Sad to read of the passing of playwright, novelist and broadcaster Bonnie Greer. I vividly remember spending such a wonderful afternoon with her in the past.

I was already excited to be performing at Shadowlands with my band, Githead, but now I'm performing as Mischievous Misappropriators with my sonic pals Carl Stone and People Like us. This is going to be FUN!!! What an incredible line up now shadowlandsfestival.co.uk/artists/misc...

Not sure 'clarity' has ever been a consideration of any agreements that are made that affect us all! 🤣

True, but given that I'm shipping out only a mere handful of times a month I don't think it will be enough to worry about. They have announced they aren't going to be enforcing anything for the time-being though so I'm remaining optimistic

Robin Rimbaud - Scanner @scannerdot.com · 05/09/2026

They wrote to me a while ago to say they had no intention to offer support, but that could change. Having said that I’m continuing to ship items out as reports are that the laws aren’t being strictly applied as yet (fingers crossed!)

No, that one with the sandpaper was downstairs at the venue and this gig was upstairs with Merzbow so would have been 1995. You are welcome to use it, of course!

Farewell today to the high priestess of polka dots, Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama (1929-2026). Her work was unforgettable and for her, a means to survival. It’s playful, psychedelic, compulsive, beautiful and slightly unsettling all at once. Into infinity and beyond Yayoi! 🔴🟡⚫️
