My strongest football opinion might be that teams should actually snap the ball sometimes in the obvious “draw them offsides” situations. Catch the defense off guard + make future bluffs more credible.

In Week 3, Aaron Rodgers was second among starting quarterbacks in aDOT and attempted eight passes of at least 20 air yards (he only completed two of them, however). Tonight, he’ll face a Cleveland defense that is allowing the highest aDOT in the league.

Spencer Jones came into tonight with a 63.8% contact rate in MLB in 2026; he hadn’t been above 62% in the minors since 2023 (High-A & AA). It’s not a good mark on its own by any means, but it’ll be good enough if Jones continues draw walks and hit the ball with the authority we’ve seen this summer.

What bugs me about Dodger Discourse is that it shifts the focus off of genuine malfeasance by other teams. The Tigers just quasi-quit on a playoff race that they're very much still in! Who did that to their fans? It wasn't Boras, Manfred, or the LAD

#Colts going with the higher floor option when that floor is still really low... Richardson probably isn't going to be a good pro, but we already can be almost certain Jones isn't one. Rather the mystery box that probably doesn't have what I want than the known commodity I can see isn't what I want
