Nice mix of waders on Saltholme West Pool ~15.30-16.00
Curlew sandpiper (6), turnstone (4), common sandpiper (2), greenshank, ringed plover, dunlin, black-tailed godwit, lapwing, avocet, curlew, ruff. Also lovely views of yellow wagtail and smew.

@teesbirds.bsky.social Long-winged conehead still present @rspbsaltholme after finding this male yesterday 13.08. First record for Saltholme and third for county Cleveland after finding one on Greenabella Marsh 31.07 and Ed Pritchard finding one near Teesside park last week. Exciting times! My first Large red damselfly of the year in the Discovery Zone this afternoon @rspbsaltholme Wheatear on the Dragonfly Path @rspbsaltholme. Also Swallow and Sand martin, Little ringed plover and Ruff showing well at Pools, Med gull on Paddy's. Lovely morning so far.
