I don't think anyone is saying we won't ever get to something resembling the hype, but the tech isn't there (LLMs are not AGI), the financials are a shell game, and there's no way to reduce the extreme costs even with the most advanced hardware.

I always wondered if charging a tiny fee per article (as a separate tier from normal subs) would be a good way to attract casual readers who don't want to commit to a sub or would otherwise be encouraged to find a way around paywalls. It's tricky with credit card fees but it could be prepaid amounts

IMO, Ds messaging comes off as downplaying existential problems (Venezuela, ICE etc) by falling back on "distraction!". Focusing on the economy should be a constant, with concerted effort to push that message w/ campaigns, anecdotes, etc rather than bland tweets and sneaking it into other concerns

The meaning of the Judges was expresssly to get Rylie out while keeping Morg as a number (Vince by extension) for the short term. After that yes Morgan pushed it to the end, with Ash feeding into it to retain influence post-white locust but regardless that is a "real move" you said she didn't have
