iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

That's me :> I chose the name because I thought it was funny, but later I decided it might detract from the research a little too much. I'm still not really sure what to do with the domain at this point, but I can't bring myself to let it go.

010

I still also need to fix the redirect from ilovepa.ws - it's what I used as the old domain but I liked the sound of purplepa.ws more.

ilovepa.ws

The root domain doesn't have anything yet, maybe I'll turn it into a directory for other services/sites I run or something.

130

Should be fixed now. It was a combination of bad certbot config and some weird breaking change in Ghost that was resolved by pulling a new version of the container. blog.purplepa.ws

130

My blog has been busted for like two years now, I should really fix it. Ordinarily I would sunset it if it served no purpose, but I’ve gotten happy emails and telegram messages about the posts in the past out of the blue, so they’re helpful to *somebody*.

do you not snap the banana like a slim jim and peel from the middle?

Like there's a tell for when I'm about to get reeeeally sick, I get sluggish and the edges of my mouth tingle, but this sensation right now is not that, I don't know what it is

I got this sense of needing help but I have no answer for what's wrong

"name it? there's more than 'it', you're gonna need like half a dozen names at least. it's a litter, you dingus"

(of course, only if they increased the trade-in values to compensate)

120

This sounds like an amazing arbitrage opportunity

340

Sellers that locked in at record low interest rates won't be going anywhere. They know they'll be fleeced on whatever other property they could find.

150

OH yeah, from Bandcamp, I'd be disappointed moreso, but I kinda get it. Think there's a couple songs from way back when that I had to convert from MP3s because the projects were lost forever or can't be opened, and I just didn't have any lossless renders.

110

Beatport charged extra for lossless too, which makes it sting even more - like tell me you didn't just charge me to convert an MP3 to WAV

140

Yeah this happened with my purchase of Marc Dawn - Expander, and I was upset enough to just find the CD on auction and rip that. When I inverted phase between them, what do you know, it's MP3 artifacts. And it's not like you can tell until you've paid for it.

Still wiggling about this one today~

(legit thanks for changing my day today)

It's funny, it's clever (adapting Ring of Fire over Balatro, what the fuck?) but once all that washed over and I thought I got it, stage two of this deceptive edible hit and I'm experiencing an unexpected emotional rollercoaster calling back to all I felt going through it

There are games that have the solution to one of their puzzles in the manual, but I wonder if there's been a game that's made you look at the game box itself.

Blessed to have good folks in my life and making it through another year while reflecting on the previous has been a reminder of that.

River asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I said "people and food" and I got both of em 💜

When I was with my then-husband while we were in Minneapolis a few years ago, this happened to us. I suspect it’s *solely because* he was wearing a nice red shirt. The woman who asked him was entirely earnest.

Three games I’ve gotten all Steam achievements on: The Planet Crafter Windblown Roboquest There are others that have had all collectibles “100%” but lack (verifiable) full achievement completion: Selaco (though only episode 1 is out right now, I will do em all) Mina the Hollower Blake Stone

I replaced SDL's memory allocator with some .NET functions and it still is accumulating unmanaged memory use somewhere, and the only place that makes sense at this point is in the interop (ppy/SDL3-CS). But it's strange that this doesn't happen on my MacOS setup.
