Very happy to see this out, with @sidemyth.bsky.social. Hendrix and i have been working on this since early in the summer; i would pass him lots of parts, various saw and field recording fragments, and he did a lot of great work to shape and compose them.

1971 Nam June Paik was there first artist resident at Experimental TV Center. 2011 we were the last artist resident @ ETC. This video was the last one made there, using a combination of our handmade synthesizer Sync Armonica and Paik’s Wobbulator Sound on 🔊

8 years ago i was traveling to a residency at Signal Culture, and spent a great week there. Not great was all on the news and in real places throughout the country that week, and I spent that time processing some of that through my experience at SC. I'll be reflecting on this throughout this week.

2 years ago i visited my Mom in St. Petersburg, Florida and one night after leaving her place (right on the bay) i recorded the sound of the calm waves for a while. I spent last weekend there, worked on the editing of this piece with the turmoil of last fall's big storms at the top of mind #soundart
