The Ontario Science Centre opened 56 years ago today, on Sept 26, 1969. A gift to Ontarians for Canada’s centennial, a radio signal from over 1.5 billion light-years away struck a circuit at the OSC to raise a curtain, opening it for all. Doug Ford, age 4, could not stop the launch.
