Music Fan Person @saveitnerds.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Turns out that having a lineup that drops off a cliff after the 4-hole and having exactly three guys in the bullpen that you can trust is not a recipe for a championship. Who knew? 000

Music Fan Person @saveitnerds.bsky.social · 02/10/2026There's no conceivable way they'd be able to move that contract. And I have a theory that as hard as he is on himself (per the broadcast most of the season), I think if he moves to LF where there's less defensive pressure, it could help him regain some of his form at the plate. 110

Music Fan Person @saveitnerds.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Probably, though I wonder if the last month in particular may have resonated with Middleton. 100
Music Fan Person @saveitnerds.bsky.social · 02/10/2026If I'm John Middleton and Dave Dombrowski spent the largest payroll in franchise history on a team that had to fire its manager, only made the playoffs on the final day of the season, and lasted three whole days in the postseason, I'd really be considering whether I have the right guy in charge. 110
Music Fan Person @saveitnerds.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Joey Votto made a great point yesterday: When they play each other, it's pretty much laid bare how deep the Braves are and how clear the lack of depth the Phillies have is. Dave Dombrowski did a horrible job with the roster build and probably should not be in the POBO position after this series. 000
Music Fan Person @saveitnerds.bsky.social · 02/10/2026The 2026 Phillies were never a great team and were certainly not a championship-caliber one. Anyone who was paying attention and/or being honest with themselves could tell that. 100
Music Fan Person @saveitnerds.bsky.social · 01/10/2026One other point: As fans, we're not in that locker room. It's speculative to talk about any type of backstage dynamics, but from my/our perspective, the leadership that's shown day in and day out - but especially last night - by Jon Moxley is remarkable. 020
Music Fan Person @saveitnerds.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Can't stop thinking about last night's Dynamite. Someone described it as like a pro-wrestling funeral service and that's really what it was. So much credit and so much respect goes to everyone who was involved. If the goal was to pay to tribute a fallen brother, they accomplished that and then some. 120
Music Fan Person @saveitnerds.bsky.social · 01/10/2026This was beautifully done with a beautiful Manchester Orchestra song scoring it. The final shot of PAC from the Andy Williams memorial is heartbreaking in this new and tragic context. 023

Music Fan Person @saveitnerds.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Is it good when none of your trade deadline pickups are on the postseason roster? Asking for a guy named Dave D. No, wait... that's too easy. Let's just call him D. Dombrowski. 001
