Zurer's performance of Vanessa vs. Alice displays the restraint of her character in Daredevil. She's not nearly as emotive as she could be, just highly calculated and firm. Her little moments with Wilson, not Kingpin, is the only indicator of that line between her private and public face.

Dario & writers did the best they could with the limitations they had IMO, runtime and characterization-wise. They killed off my queen this season but gotta say, Domestic!Fisk is my fav part of this whole comeback, even widower!Fisk. Kingpin is a wifeguy, yeah. Cancer twins, you'll be missed. 🥹
