I’m going to start digging into the NBA Draft here soon. I’m super excited.

Kansas City’s combination of the refs, luck, and being good makes them damn near impossible to beat.

Good FO moves v Bad FO moves Heat traded Kyle Lowry (expiring) 2027 FRP For Terry Rozier (3yr/74.8m) 2 weeks later the Mavs traded Grant Williams (4 yrs/53.3m) Seth Curry (expiring) 2027 FRP For PJ Washington (3yr/46.5m) 2024 2nd-round pick 2028 2nd-round pick

The Thomas Bryant trade guarantees the Miami Heat are converting Dru Smiths contract to a minimum. Also, Isaiah Stevens is mostly getting that two-way contract. He’s averaging 14/4/11 and leading the G-league in total plus/minus. All in all, a very solid trade for Miami.

Dru Smith, Niko Jovic and the intensity of the defense really flipped this game in the second quarter.

Mavs and OKC feels like I’m previewing the WCF already.

Nice couple of defensive possessions by Ajay Mitchell and Omax Prosper

000

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 10/12/2024

The Heat aren’t trading Butler but they probably should’ve in the offseason

110

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 09/12/2024

Eric Reid after Terry Rozier over dribbled and took a tough shot and missed “That’s Terry being Terry” An icon. 😂😂😂

041

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 09/12/2024

When Larsson comes back I think he directly should jeopardize Jaime’s minutes and not Dru Smith’s.

043

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 09/12/2024

Herro really has taken a leap He’s been truly impactful and has changed his shot chart for the better.

060

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 08/12/2024

When Jimmy hits that mode he’s still a top player in the league.

010

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 08/12/2024

I don’t have the official stat on this but trust me The Heat are the worse tip in team in the league.

000

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 08/12/2024

Bam actually changed his cadence on that drive and finished it on the break. Need to see more of that.

010

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 08/12/2024

Dru has a role in the league uses his hands and chest really well to walk out drives.

001

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 27/11/2024

Terry Rozier has been uber impactful today. Bucks best player off the bench by far.

000

Why TF would we go for 2??? Just make the PAT and force LAC hand.

After 5 days off Spo decided to play a rookie, Pelle Larsson, more minutes than everyone outside of Jimmy/Tyler/Bam. The rookie responded with a team leading +18 in 37 minutes.

170

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

Yall wanna know what’s really telling? Spo had almost a week off and his biggest rotation adjustment has been to give Pelle more minutes. If yall followed me you wouldn’t be shocked. Not your average rookie.

051

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

Heat offensive process has been as good as it has been all season. 55% of shots are at the rim. If the shots fall this is the best half of basketball they’ve put together.

021

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

Without Richardson and Rozier the Heat look like an actually good NBA team.

I was low on McCain before I dug in bc I didn't want more undersized two guards but @saucytakez.bsky.social made me give him a deeper look. dude is built well and uses his body smartly, relocates, and elite shooter.

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 19/11/2024

BTW all 3 picks after Ware are better than Ware just lyk McCain Knecht Da Silva All are better. Argue with a wall.

Miami is always so injury plagued. Jimmy is probably back today but Jaime will miss time now.

I feel like I led the charge on Terry/JRich hate. This will be my legacy … fixating all of my rage on one or two Heat players every season. I’m gonna start calling it the Moe Harkless award.

Kevin Love is such a great player. Truly impressive how he can impact a game in such little playing time.

040

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 16/11/2024

Terry Rozier is such a hustler. Crazy that man convinced an NBA franchise to pay him. Then ofc we trade for him.

130

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 15/11/2024

Heat play the Pacers who lost in the finals of the Cup Tournament last season. Curious to see what version of this Heat team shows up today.

110

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 11/11/2024

BTW every minute Josh Richardson has played today has come at the expense of Pelle Larsson

150

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 11/11/2024

Some of these lineup combinations is what’s holding Miami back

010

saucytakez.bsky.social @saucytakez.bsky.social · 11/11/2024

When the Heat get the ball out of the ball stoppers hands the offense looks so much better.
