Oh, there are some great names there too. Build Canada. Very clear and direct. Oil and gas CEO. Straight and to the point. I love when names just tell you what things are. I don't love when names don't tell you what things are. Data centers - that's a bad name. What do they even do in there?

This makes much more sense than your other post I came across. But clankers itself isn't problematic. Personifying LLMs, that's problematic, whether it breeds hate or admiration. But if one knows the score, "clanker" is akin to muttering "piece of sh*t" when your code breaks.

"You big stupid dumb dumb" is also a derogatory slur. There's a line, not all slurs are ethnic slurs nor do they carry the same weight. Also, I'm confused why anyone thinks that dude "popularized clankers". I got clankers from Star Wars, and have used it for years whenever software breaks.

As a software engineer that works with LLMs, absolutely not. - LLMs are not sentient. - LLMs will not become sentient. - Personifying LLMs and over attribution are exactly why the "AI" bubble exists. We have a long way to go before we get anything with actual comprehension, let alone sentience.

100%, I feel the same way. I've long suspected MKBHD isn't that technical. Great production value, and it's entertaining at least...I like the car channel more, because those are things I'm not actually going to buy...but if I'm actually considering a purchase, I don't give his opinion much weight.
