A lot of people are balking at the cost of tokens. But the chip industry probably doesn’t bat an eyelid. It was common (probably still is) to have engineer salary and tool costs be about equal.

Apparently I'm one of the dozen people who use Windows with Bash as their main shell. direnv is completely broken in this setup. The solution is in a GitHub issue comment from 2019, that some how hasn't made it to the main repo. github.com/direnv/diren...

Today was when I realized that the Mail app icon on iOS and macOS has Apple’s address in tiny print on the back of the envelope. Apparently macOS has had it for a while, but on iOS it was just added.

I've occasionally seen Europeans end up in this kind of situation when they cross from Mexico, but usually it's because they haven't followed the waiver process correctly to be entering from a land border.
