His copy held out his hand, and a sparkling ball of light grew from their finger tips slowly like a blooming star.
Nora’s eyes widened in surprise, transfixed on the light.
I…For…me?
He slowly reached out a hand, and felt heat ignite at his own fingertips when they grew close, watching as little embers of color flew away from the contact point.

A full body with background illustration of Cora, the Nora/Pink Steven and Connie fusion in the fanfiction Legacy System Reboot, Chapter 12: Kids Together. The style tries to closely match Steven Universe's classic style but with some additions, like slightly more detailed stars and the splash Cora produces being very detailed to show glowing phytoplankton. They're mid movement dancing on the ocean, playing essentially while they smile widely and laugh, stars shining above them in the sky and reflecting on the edge of the water's surface. Written segment this is from:

Cora thought about it for a moment, staring at the silly cat as he continued to play with the water surface. “That might be giving him too much credit….” Cora snorted as Lion abruptly huffed in their direction, only proving to make them laugh more. “Okay, okay, I'll give it to him. He probably did.”

Cora twirled over the water, giggling as their extended foot dragged across it and caused what was basically a light show in a shimmering crescent.

It was beautiful and fun.

It felt good, to just be themselves and play like they were children again, kicking up waves and running around as Lion pawed at the water around their heels.

They were still children.

a sketch from Legacy System Reboot Chapter 8 of Nora (Sasu's pink steven design) Universe crying while sniffling quietly, a pair of large hands (jasper) roughly wiping his eyes while acting irritated.

Jasper stared for a while as Nora cried quietly, frown turning a bit more intense as she imagined someone else standing in front of her. She let out a tsk before grabbing Nora’s face and lifting it, grabbing the end of his hoodie to roughly wipe his face. “Stop crying, I'm not dead and your fluids are disgusting.”

Nora winced and closed his eyes while he was man handled, sniffing quietly as he was abruptly let go. The two stood in silence for some time, though it looked like Jasper was expecting him to continue. “I just wish I knew the right words.” He mumbled.
