Misrepresenting historical archives feels like a bad idea, maybe????

Are these the opening credits? It's like Yellowjackets where they get increasingly creepier as the season goes on.

Justice for the Nik Kershaw version of Wouldn't It Be Good on the soundtrack!

I know Ava has had to go outside the studio system to get her films funded and I wonder if using AI was one of the conditions from her beneficiary(ies)...

So *this* is the grand plan to save USPS? We were too soon to let go of messenger pigeons.

"[U]se of generative artificial intelligence to animate archival photographs featured in the documentary" seems like a bad precedent these days, idk

You definitely have, this was a flimsy and lazy excuse.

What was my mom trying to say when she showed me this movie when I was little 🤔

When I'm eating something delicious, this is a given. It's like Fantastic Mr. Fox when they start dancing when they find food.

Slash talking about his lil self being scared of Night of the Living Dead. 😩 But I'm honestly shocked this film made no mention of Hurston's Tell My Horse. #horrorsky #moviesky

I was curious and full of questions at first, but when I realized adults were doing/saying the opposite of what they were saying to me, I turned into an observer and figured out a WHOLE lot of stuff quietly.

Because I'm still obsessed with Smile 2 (and moreso reaction videos of Black folks watching it and other horror films), I decided Skye Riley is the pop star we all need (...to not start a Traumapocalypse) #Halloween #horrorsky #moviesky #musicsky youtube.com/playlist?lis...

Yeah, I'm super grateful for spaces like that, and when I finally make it out there I wanna make sure the music is worth it!

Aww, boo to that. I'll reach out to some Black house DJs in the city who might be interested in spinning there.

As many hits as they had, I still think they're wildly underrated.

Hilarious to me that AMC #FearFest is showing every single second of gore in The Thing but censoring the curse words.

I actually have a snow cone machine where you just feed it ice cubes and it comes out like snow dust. All you'd have to do is buy the syrup and it's snow cone season whenever you want!

I think the lack of development beyond Sam's and Laurence's characters hurts it the most, but it's still so watchable.

Lol, I'm putting Sylvan Esso's Wolf on my Halloween playlist. They're great live.

This is why I hate that one episode of Black Mirror, White Bear (that most people seem to love??), where a Black woman is forced to relive her crime and punishment on a daily basis for a live audience while people chase her with cell phone cameras.

I would climb out of my crib, put together my cereal (I don't remember which but probably Cherrios) and if I wasn't watching Friday Night Videos my mom had recorded the day before I'd be watching She-Ra. Then my mom would wake up to find me passed out on the couch.
