A few things seen around my yard last week.

Violas or pansies, small purple and yellow flowers that can survive freezing multiple times. They are wonderful and you can eat them. Rad!

This is a Magpie in a Poplar tree. They like to eat at the bird feeder but also they like to eat dead or dying things. I sometimes think they are scary but someone has to eat the dead, so I should probably just be grateful.
