I'm making a list but it will take a few days (cuz job)

sasdasx.bsky.social @sasdasx.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

Hi, I'm working on a list of everything I need and might reach out in a few days (job slows me down) cuz that way it might be much easier

No need to worry, it's about someone else entirely

Environments, backgrounds and character sheets is what got this specific reaction

000

sasdasx.bsky.social @sasdasx.bsky.social · 03/05/2026

Might be. I often ask people I know first (hence they're not scared to tell me what I ask for is the most boring thing on earth). I try the broader internet after.

Accuracy, which tends to be very boring

110

sasdasx.bsky.social @sasdasx.bsky.social · 03/05/2026

Hello, I sometimes do large projects, so my requests often end up being boring things such as: environments, backgrounds, patterns (for clothing, walls etc.) and a lot of character sheets (which can be boring for existing characters). When I ask for character design instead, it gets accepted.

sasdasx.bsky.social @sasdasx.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

I looked through your portfolio, do you have pricing posted somewhere? Or is it heavily based on whatever is filled in the form first?

110

sasdasx.bsky.social @sasdasx.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

It is okay. The only thing that happens when these are rejected is that I end up doing them myself.

110

sasdasx.bsky.social @sasdasx.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

I am an artist myself, so I only tend to delegate design work and boring things to speed up large projects (they do commercial commissions) and while design gets accepted pretty easily no one is really a fan of doing sheets, backgrounds or clothing or environment patterns (understandable).

110

sasdasx.bsky.social @sasdasx.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

Hi, mostly people I already know cuz I reach out there first before I do to people who are more random. Then people I followed (when I still used instagram). Accepted: ocs, character design from description Rejected: environment/background stuff, character sheets, patterns (all 3 too repetitive)

sasdasx.bsky.social @sasdasx.bsky.social · 01/05/2026

i wish artists actually accepted commissions of what i want them to draw instead of what they like to draw but they say my requests are so soul crushingly boring that no money can fix it

Good thing ther were no monsters living there but maybe there was too much sun getting in through the holes (in my dreams they live underground and are usually neutral as long as you leave them alone and don't go in there)

000

I had a dream the floor was very very deep or rather it had many very deep big holes that went much further than usual basements, it was just part of the landscape, and i kept dropping shit in there on accident and thinking about how i'm never getting it out or cleaning it up

I looked at multiple used electronic websites and since i don't use any other social media and the algorithm doesn't know much about me all i have been getting for weeks are used electronics ads... Like that time when i got ads for dnd dice for one year straight.
