I have that theory about this time someone let Matt Gaetz out of the makep chair looking like this
Matt Gaetz closeup from a TV program. He has too-orange make-up and large, triangular, poorly blended concealer blobs that extend from his eyes to his his nostrils.

His nose is left a beat red and doesn't seem to have any orange cake make-up on it at all. You can also see the concealer badly blended partially up the sides of his nose.

Possibly the worst concealer job I have ever seen. I refuse to believe any professional would have let him out of the chair like this except as an act of hilariously petty sabotage.

They will use forced labor to fill those jobs. They want slavery back. It never really left, but they want the old chattel system back. That's why farmers vote for them. They can terrorize their immigrant work force into accepting lower pay and other abuses. Now they won't even need to do that.
Pachman said the fact that native-born workers haven’t rushed to fill jobs vacated by foreign-born men undermines a basic tenant of Trump’s deportation project: the claim that foreign workers took jobs that the native-born want.

“There’s a narrative that a lot of people believe despite their political party. Call it the labor-displacement effect,” Pachman said in an interview. “It says that if an immigrant takes a job, that is a job that’s being taken from another individual, say a native-born, white American.

“If that is true, what we should be finding when we look at the public data is that as jobs go away that immigrants were holding, those jobs should be getting filled by native-born men. But we’re not finding that. We’re finding that the participation rate of native-born men is continuing to decline.”

I just immediately thought of this
Some people with schizophrenia may also experience communication disorders known as graphorrhea and hypergraphia.

Graphorrhea is when a person writes incoherently (without making sense) and continually (without pause). This is more extreme than free writing without a goal in mind. Graphorrhea includes writing meaningless words and feeling unable to stop oneself from continuing on and on.

Hypergraphia is different. It’s the intense urge or feeling or need to write (or draw). Both these conditions are associated with manic symptoms such as those present in bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

This is an excellent article. If you didn't read it, you're missing out. Bookmark it and read it later if you don't have time now. Just a snippet, and it only gets better from there.
As the American right in 2026 continues to be so wholly enveloped by the absurdities of Trumpism, some centrists are increasingly desperate for conservatives who appear “reasonable.” Only by pointing to such phantom right-wing figures can they rationalize their own conservative mode of politics and their distaste for the left (or morally justify their fecklessness in the face of rising fascism.) But such “respectable” conservatives, who can pretend to be above the MAGA fray, are in short supply; so in recent months we have been inundated with interviews and articles treating a murderer’s row of far-right clowns as interesting thinkers. This includes the likes of Laura Loomer, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Ben Shapiro, and Chris Rufo.

I mean I was just doing that right before I saw this and now I can't stop laughing and I can't even blame hormones. This also broke me out of a bread-eating-like funk once.
A post from someone named Viktor Winetrout that says "don't tell me how to lift my baby" with a black and white cartoony illustration of "lifting baby" instructions.

It has a "do" and "don't" side. The "Do" illustration is normal baby lifting and the "don't" is a large hand grasping a baby head and carrying it vertically. Like one of those claw machines snatching up a plushie.A cool bro guy walkilking down a busy city street looking very serious while grasping the the aforementioned "don't" version of the baby lifting illustration. So a color photo with a black and white carton baby pasted where his hand would be.

His hand is the hand grasping the baby's head from the illustration, and the baby is just swinging there by his side while he does his cool tattooes and airpods manly dude thing.

The angle of the baby is changed to match the stride lol. It's funnier if you can see it trust me.

Jyst FYI this is what the votes actually look like. You have a map of electoral votes. This is a map of actual votes. We still suck but those red/blue maps are stupid and misleading. Side note...also we should stop clustering we are making this way too easy for them.

I LOVE THESE BIRDS!!! Look! Look at this angry baby mountain bluebird! You picture is almost as good but... (Apologies I can't credit the photographer. I've had this saved on my phone for some time because I love it so much.)

It's staring directly into the camera and looks like it's contemplating your murder.

Well there was some bribery, he understood that part.
From Maddow blog:

"Who wants Iran bombed off the map, for their own reasons? Who are their rivals and enemies? Perennially, the Gulf Arab states, countries like Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

You know, Qatar. The country that just gave Donald Trump a really, really nice $400-milion-dollar plane, a gilded flying palace for his own use both during his presidency and after?

And you remember the United Arab Emirates, structuring a recent, totally pointless crypto financial transaction so that $2 billion of it was stuffed into the Trump family’s otherwise worthless brand new crypto financial firm?"

I have long suspected the second paragraph here was true, but it's "nice" to have it confirmed.
The population of CBP agents and officers who have been arrested would make it roughly the nation’s fourth largest police department — equal to the size of the entire Philadelphia police.

Indeed, for much of the 2010s and likely before and since, it appears the crime rate of CBP agents and offices was higher PER CAPITA than the crime rate of undocumented immigrants in the United States.

It's just on my wish list of things to help counter those gerrymanering margins that are slim. For some reason we always fall into the trap of thinking everyone has to do the same thing for it to contribute. They don't. Chipping away at things certainly worked for them. I mean just look at this

Rufo is so close to self-awareness:
"Rufo compared Yarvin to a “Berkeley professor who burned out on acid in the 1960s” and described his ideas as “a complex of demoralization, resentment, and hubris.”

“He imagines himself capable of repealing the last 250 years of American history, but behind all of the obscure allusions and insistence on his own genius, his actual theory of political change is reducible to a meme,” wrote Rufo."

By Oliver Kornetzke

Behold. The festering carcass of American rot shoved into an ill-fitting suit: the sleaze of a conman, the cowardice of a draft dodger, the gluttony of a parasite, the racism of a Klansman, the sexism of a back-alley creep, the ignorance of a bar-stool drunk, and the greed of a hedge-fund ghoul—all spray-painted orange and paraded like a prize hog at a county fair. Not a president. Not even a man. Just the diseased distillation of everything this country swears it isn’t but has always been—arrogance dressed up as exceptionalism, stupidity passed off as common sense, cruelty sold as toughness, greed exalted as ambition, and corruption worshiped like gospel. It is America’s shadow made flesh, a rotting pumpkin idol proving that when a nation kneels before money, power, and spite, it doesn’t just lose its soul—it shits out this bloated obscenity and calls it a leader.

Paert 2 of the Hannah Arendt quote:

"...one could make people believe the most fantastic statements one day, and trust that if the next day they were given irrefutable proof of their falsehood, they would take refuge in cynicism; instead of deserting the leaders who had lied to them, they would protest that they had known all along that the statement was a lie and would admire the leaders for their superior tactical cleverness."

Hannah Arendt had some interesting things to say about cynicism, which is different but related to what you're talking about. Maybe it's a difference more in magnitude than kind, idk.
Part 1 of a Hannah Arendt quote:

"In an ever-changing, incomprehensible world the masses had reached the point where they would, at the same time, believe everything and nothing, think that everything was possible and nothing was true… The totalitarian mass leaders based their propaganda on the correct psychological assumption that, under such conditions, one could make..."

Minhwa refers to art painted by people who had no formal training, it is known as "peoples art"

The tigers in this form of art are intentionally given a ridiculous appearance, and are meant to represent authority and aristocracy/the nobility in charge, whereas the magpie represented the common man. They were a satirical form of art during the Joseon dynasty.
