I mod @Vivaldi with some custom css. - I have created some files, that mimic elements from popular browsers, which you could download. This approach did not work well - especially not, when making changes. So as a weekend-project, I separated my "changesets" […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

Cool cool. uBlock Origin (not lite) still does seem to work perfectly fine in @Vivaldi It is a bit hard to find as it is not findable through the search, but for the record […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

Since it is pretty hot in here currently, I did a tiny CSS adjustment to our favourite browser @Vivaldi. In my setup, the tabs „felt“ a bit disconnected for me, so I have removed the dropdown triangle and decreased the whitespace around the workspaces-icon […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

I really love the new design from @Vivaldi However, it always bothered me, that the border radius of the webview has not the same radius than the application window. I made a tiny fix for that […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

Today I was Demoing some things and were using quick commands and people asked me, which browser I was using at work, because of the productivity increase. I gladly answered of course. Also, I really like the unified appearance for @Vivaldi Thanks for another great update. 💝

I really like using @pocketcasts.com because the syncing just works great. However, on MacOS I am using the website as a standalone version. It always bothered me, the icon did not match Pocket Casts+ from my iPhone. Since I could not find it anywhere, I […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

I loved „Immunity“ by Jon Hopkins a I remember two years ago, when hearing „Ritual“ - my first thought was: that is not really interesting. But, like a lot of other Albums, that were disappointing at first - this has grown a lot! It is probably my favourite […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

I was playing with CSS-modding for @Vivaldi today and I found it, we can make the BookMarkButton actually inherit the AccentColor, if the current page is saved as a bookmark. If you like that, head over here […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

Another step to an even cleaner browser ui for @Vivaldi I was like: what, if we decrease the opacity of inactive tabs without audio and buttons down to 30%? If you want to use it yourself - here is the code […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

TIL: if you are using @Vivaldi (which you should) you can assign a nickname to a shortcus and it will be used as a source for quick commands. So, if you have a JS bookmarklet, it can get easily executed using quick commands. How cool is that? 🖤

I went with Launchbar, because of it's simplicity. Alfred sadly looks and works pretty much outdated (like it can not run Shortcuts out of the box). Raycaste is nice, with the store - however, I don't enjoy the interface. Everything is so tiny. Launchbar is […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

I want my browsers like I like my rooms. Clean and tidy. Luckily, @Vivaldi allows some modding of the UI to go beyond the already great capabilities. So I am lowering the opacity of all background-tabs that don't have audio playing, to make the current tab […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

Recently No Man’s Sky got the update called „Voyagers“ and I finally had the time ro play. The update is insane - I can‘t believe „Hello games“ does those updates for free… to a nine year old game. You can build your own spaceships now and much more. I love this game.
