This is Takara, the troubled spirit of the old steel mill. She stands about 9ft tall and weighs a bit over 1 ton. She is a run-down worn-out greasy terrible beast. Thanks to the help of a wonderful close friend I am finally happy with this design. I will try to ink and color this one.

Pencil drawing of a somewhat anthropomorphic mechanical beast. She looks quite menacing, clearly up to no good.

Just gonna plug this again since the old link is kaputt, I was thinking of picking up the little "Asks" thing I did a while back so I can have more things to draw Feel free to ask anything you'd like (within reason), and I hope to respond via sketches of characters ask.zyntaks.ca/ask/saruexma...

I have no idea what to do when I'm locked in to draw, ready and concentrated, and just.. Don't want to draw anything. I want to draw, but there is nothing I want to draw

I barely feel like I exist, I can't grasp any thoughts in my mind. If I ask myself what I'm thinking it's akin to a large empty space with the question echoing over and over I feel like I am entirely incapable of imagining something, thinking of some idea to write out draw, or even what to do

I sure do love wasting over an hour of my life having to argue against Soviet and Russian imperialist propaganda with my own damn mother instead of doing literally anything productive Need to vent and cool off a bit

Trying something with a bit more style. Also made them red.

Finished a ref for my synth. Still thinking of their name. Could probably still use some tweeks and also some more views but I’ll leave it at this for now as I want get back to doing other art.

It genuinely feels like at this point my main struggle with art is literally motorical, I feel like I struggle to get my hand to do what I want it to do Hell I might genuinely need to exercise more, maybe more arm strength will help too

The past few months have been a self-perpetuating spiral of neglect and self-pity, brought on by depression, but kindled by capitulation and passivity. I choose to defy it, stating this here where anyone can see; so that should I falter & seek excuses, there will be none to shield myself with.
