Appreciate a Dragon Day has been renamed Appreciate Arit Day! Be sure to find Arit and appreciate him, otherwise he might find you! Where did he get those strange symbols in his magic circle, anyway?!

A handsome, dashing, and overall good-looking black feathered Dragon stands before his cadre of loyal followers and implores them to express their appreciation of him. “I invite all of my loyal peons to APPRECIATE me,” he projects with a well-earned confidence. Despite this, the range of emotions between his peons range from guarded skepticism to outright shock. It is an unfortunate sight, indeed. One can only hope they will come to appreciate the Dragon who brought them together across realms.

Tragedy strikes the Kingdom of Ellyntide, and the Lemur princess Asha is transformed into an enormous, feathered Dragon. Can she find a way to turn back to normal? ✨I'm pleased to announce The Princess's Feathers will make its publishing debut March 19th!✨ #dragon #booksky

that time pret tried to go swimming but forgot he couldnt swim #dragon #dragonsandskylines

Pret, one of the main POVs in Rowan Silver's Dragons and Skylines book series, stands disheveled and wet after taking a plunge into the Pacific Ocean. He is on the receiving end of a verbal excoriation as Lilith and Grith, two of the other main POVs, berate him mercilessly.

Also, some art I've never shared before! Lemur Asha smelling her favorite Varecian rosebush by @misterlemur.bsky.social!

Princess Asha from The Princess's Feathers smells a fabulous, pink-blossomed Vareican Rosebush growing on a trellis at the Royal Gardens. This particular plant was grown by none other than that gardener Asha's always citing as a major influence in her life or somesuch. I met her once or twice while she was still around, and I have to say, she was a pretty cool Rabbit! Taught me a thing or two about gardening and always had a lot of thoughtful wisdom to share (whether or not the wisdom was warranted for someone such as myself, well! I'll leave that up to you to decide!)

Grith, a golden Fikolese Dragon from Rowan Silver's Dragons and Skylines converses with Asha from the Princess's Feathers. Asha suggests that the reader (that's you!) should read their books. Grith reminds Asha that The Princess's Feathers paperback hasn't been published yet, to which Asha replies, "So?"

Suppose I should start posting some old art! Here's an Asha ref I drew back in 22 right around the time TPF was starting.

Before Cohost shut down, I wrote a short story about dragons, wish fulfillment, and the places we find ourselves. You can read it here: cohost.org/zang/post/78...

A dragoness stands among a forest, gazing in shock at something lying on the ground.

For TPF's 100th chapter, one of my readers commissioned @ukariarti.bsky.social to paint this heartwarming illustration of Kuro and Asha! Thank you very much Andz!

Two Dragons, plumaged the colors of soot and the sky, embrace each other's friendship (and more?) in an idyllic field of wildflowers.
