That makes sense i guess. I guess i wasn't overly thinking of people that didn't put 2 and 2 with the term "olympians" i guess it would be good for them. That is less the issue for me as much as the literal "oh it can do this" which literally was the shock factor ending of the second book

Overall, prefer it to the movie for adaptations but liked some of the little quips the actors did in the movie more.

I started watching the 2023 Percy Jackson series as someone that likes the many series under riordan's belt. Pros: Sticks to the story WAY closer than the movie did. Cons: Definitely treats the audience as if they're stupid at times and treats some amazing plot moments as "lets tell the audience"

When did Fire Emblem stop being a tactics game..

000

Sariya @sariya.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Hot take. I think I'd like Super Metroid better if it had fusion/zero mission's button scheme. Half the reason I don't mesh with it is the jank controls

000

Sariya @sariya.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

That feeling when you're 10 hours in, have gone through 3 major story events... and THEN the title card drops

000

Sariya @sariya.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Movie theatres: Why nobody wanna watch movies ): ): Also Movie Theatres: Yup. 45$ is a reasonable ticket price

Seeing people talk about spiderman on stream reminds me i grew up with 3 vhs of the 1967 series.. that was a wild trip..

My mother apologised for enjoying her painting so much today that she would forget to do things.. i had to explain to her thats how a hobby works.. you forget when youre engrossed in it.. you WANT to keep going. its wild that i had to explain what a hobby was

I love that my family is very subtly against lgbtqia "because relgion says so" but then one of my family members.. who is not in a healthy relationship.. casually mentions theyre having another child and thats celebrated.. god i hate religion..

Man.. I LOVE how Lumentale plays.. its a super pretty pokemon a-like made by some very talented fangame creators (creators of Pokemon Xenoverse) but the bugs on the switch version have really made it hard to fully enjoy T_T i hope theres a S2 version in the future

Sariya @sariya.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

Game was cute. if it becomes a full project at any time that would be hilarious but as a bite sized proof of concept the models and art are really high quality

Sariya @sariya.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

As someone that never grew up with an N64 but played lylat wars a lot with a friend. i still pride myself on remembering how to get to the true ending haha. god i need to learn the routes to get medals now T_T

I... will admit the master scene with all the changes but without the music is a little uncanny

I feel like AI wouldn't catch on so much if you saw a visual representation every time you used it of how much energy it took

It's nice to go through my music list and come back onto songs I forgot about.. but now I have Metamorphosis stuck in my head..

I know i was getting my hopes up but the nintendo direct was kinda lackluster. my only real interests fell on new Xenoblade and deltarune chapter 6 in a few weeks.. at least the other presentations gave me something to be keen for

030

Sariya @sariya.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

Oh really?? i dont remember that happening. thats honestly good. but i guess if its the only way to get access to the ip

Sariya @sariya.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

Why did the xbox game show get me so hype this year.. P6 teaser, more footage of belmont's curse and then out of left field. oh hey what about a new spyro game

I've come to an opinion that certain every day objects are quantum in nature. When they cease to be observed, BAM, they're gone. .. . NO.. this ISN'T about me forgetting my umbrella at work for the 8th time and having to go back for it. Shut up

I love that.. WITHOUT FAIL.. every time i update my nvidia drivers.. my computer HAS to crash once then its fine.. like nvidia.. fix your shit

000

Sariya @sariya.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

Damn.. watched the pilot for Gameoverse and immediately my brain is like oh no.. a new series im gonna love. the thing that REALLY got me is that voice cast i was not expecting to recognise so many of the names haha

000

Sariya @sariya.bsky.social · 13/05/2026

So, rewatching @bengineeringtv.bsky.social Vods of Pisces.. that game feels.. very.. badly balanced.. like.. i cant remember where i stopped but they started throwing full blown competitive statted pokemon at you fight after fight, i wanted to like it more but that "it could be harder" turned me off

Do i get an alter of Emrakul that's just a picture of Dark Bramble from Outer Wilds?

000

Sariya @sariya.bsky.social · 10/05/2026

I mean it kinda makes sense. it was hard to tell which mode it was in with all the changes. maybe it was for the best?

000

Sariya @sariya.bsky.social · 09/05/2026

Wait.. so all the review bombing that the single region did to StS2 was over the doormaker?? What was wrong with it? I was actually happy to see it when i fought through act 3.

Definitely didn't pull up to the lights while wearing purple and black arm socks after leaving work while singing along to Orden Ogan's Gunman loudly and notice the person beside me was a coworker. Gonna hope their memory is as bad as they claim or im gonna have a fun story to explain tomorrow

With all the talk of the new star wars racer I was reminded that the first Wipeout game got a pc modernisation port. The music is still nostalgic as hell

Old repost but with watching Stephen play Outer wilds I remember I did art when I played it... 6 years ago.. God.. My art has improved MEASURABLY since then.. maybe I should redraw it.. Anyway. Hypothesis: There CAN exist too much lava

Old Art of my dragon sona Sari in Outer Wilds Ventures spacesuit, running across the surface of Brittle Hollow while the homocidal moon launches fireballs at him

Sariya @sariya.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

It's overly depressing that I cant play Outer Wilds again for the first time
