Across Warcraft, Elder Scrolls and my own fantasy setting, Margus remains the most consistent: A knight who lost his beloved Lunella and fell into darkness to find her again. Margus is yearning and hunger incarnate and ultimately is nothing without her or at least the pursuit of her.

Margus Gertoix, an undead knight wearing ghoulish armor in a crypt with purple, glowing skeletal eyes and casting black and purple light from his hand in Elder Scrolls Online.

Margus again, kneeling outside the crypt without his helmet as black and purple magic cascades over him.

Margus once again but in his bedroom in Deathbell Manor wearing black clothes with red roses embroidered on the arms, holding a levitating crystal in his hand.

Motion capture is all the rage these days because of studios obsession with hyper realism. It says more to do with her finally getting recognition than anything else. She’s done plenty of roles like in ESO for example that aren’t mocap though.
