We're finally prepping to paint the living room and so we took down the giant slab o'mirror that's been over the fireplace since at least early 70s...

Wood trim with a white power outlet in a janky hole cut into it and a mysterious patch of outlet-sized wallpaper on the wall above the trim...

The removal of the patch of wallpaper reveals a hole in the wall and the wires that were spliced to move the outlet down. The wallpaper where the patch sat is much less yellow than the rest
