Pretty much, yeah. Only you have to go out of your way to the bat caves, but the bacteria is frequently carried by rodents in general. They're pretty resistant to it, but their predators are less so. And ofc their fleas can spread to pets and infect them. So we'll prob never stamp it out entirely.

I did Sciences both undergrad and postgrad and even back in uni, I verbally smacked a few snoots over this. I think there is a pretty strong link between denigrating Arts - such as learning critical thinking, textual analysis, history - and *being up to the arse in fkn nazis*.

Well, it didn't happen last year when someone died of it in Arizona. Or in any of the other cases, in the US alone, about 7 per year on average. Most are bubonic, but occasional pneumonic and septacaemic.
