I’m happy to say that I’ve successfully defended my thesis. Thank you Lisa, you have truly been a fantastic supervisor. A heartfelt thank you to my opponent Prof. Colucci, the dissertation committee and my lovely co-supervisors. Also, a big thank you to everyone who were there to celebrate with me!

NEW: In an unprecedented move, the NIH will soon disinvite dozens of scientists about to take positions on advisory councils that make final decisions on grant funding. NIH staff were told to select others aligned with the Trump administration and told to expect placements by political appointees.

My dear colleague Gustaw Eriksson has just published a comprehensive cellular atlas of the endometrium in women with PCOS, showing cell-type-specific disease signatures. This reveals new promising therapeutic targets for PCOS-related endometrial dysfunction. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

The Swedish organisation for flow cytometry (SFFF) arranged a lovely conference where people from academia, industry, the clinic and governmental agencies were brought together. I had the opportunity to present how we use spectral flow cytometry to study uterine NK cells in #PCOS. Thank you SFFF!

This is a full on assault on education. The US is the world leader in innovation research, technology only because we as a society support it. Without support for world leading research, we will brain drain and the best and brightest will go where research thrives www.statnews.com/2025/02/07/n...
