Honestly I love yearning and tension in a drama but Against the Current and The First Jasmine are two shows this year where the romance wasn't really romancing (by design, no shade) but the story was storying and the characters were charactering and the show was showing and I was 100% entertained

It's #roadtosplendour on the plane. I will never be able to obsess over Ding Yuxi and I generally dislike a "cheeky ML" but the show is quality and entertaining so what can you do 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also love a conscious colour choice in dramas and the yellow/gold is so pretty 💛🧡 Even the FL's eyes match!
