Today, for the first time in New York City history, 2,000 two year-olds received offers for FREE 2-K. A big step for those who take baby steps. A big step towards a City every New Yorker can afford.

I saw a post this morning where community members were asking how to extend moratoriums on data centers. As those of us in the heritage sector fight to save our regulations, if we're not in the same room as communities fighting for better zoning and planning - what the hell are we even doing?

This is such a difficult time for those of us in cultural resource management. If you're not sure what that is, it's the preservation/conservation of heritage. There have been multiple times in the last couple of months where I've wanted to throw my hands up and scream "why bother?"

Natalie Imbruglia's Torn. I will never forget 1997. My 11 year old self before the streaming era trying to discover new music, and it was the only song every single radio station played over and over and over again.
