I was not expecting to have much work this term, but I'm actually booked for the entire term working full-time with my own class, with the potential for it to be extended into the second term. So no more travelling for a while, which means I can save for another big trip!

Bought myself a food slicer so I can thinly slice things safely because I often accidentally injure myself when chopping. As you will see, I immediately managed to injure myself with it.

I bought a really nice photo album last year and kept saying I would get some free prints to put into it. I finally ordered some last month so today I've been able to fill it and then make this months order based on the missing sizes. I'm so pleased I finally got around to doing this! ✈️🗺️

On my way home so did the maths and I've spent a total of £1,666 for my two weeks in Central America. That covers everything, including flights. That averages out to £416 per country which is very reasonable! I'm definitely going to keep my eye out for more cheap flights so I can go back! ✈️🗺️

Just went and did the maths for my Central America trip - in total it will cost me just over £400 for all overland transport from San Salvador to Cancun and two weeks of accommodation. The tour online I found doing a similar route (but starting in Antigua) is triple the price! ✈️🗺️

It really pays to learn some of the local language when you travel. Just bought a sandwich at a street stall for treinta quetzals using my poor Spanish but while eating I heard somebody ask in English and get told forty. ✈️🗺️ #TravelAddicts

My camera memory card decided it wanted to stop working right at the end of my trip yesterday, so now I get the fun of trying to recover all my files. This happened once before and I got them back, so fingers crossed! Luckily I did use my phone quite a bit too so still have lots of photos. ✈️🗺️

I had a fantastic day and a half in Nantes, highlight was definitely getting to see all the really interesting animal machines. They were fascinating! The château (and history museum in it) was also brilliant. ✈️🗺️ #TravelAddicts

Today I finally got the chance to visit the Isle of May to see the puffins and it was absolutely incredible. So many puffins on the cliff and flying around above our heads. Got to see lots of other seabirds and a couple seals too. Now to sort through all my photos! #TravelAddicts ✈️🗺️

When the rain finally stopped in Rhodes, I was able to visit the harbour and view the pillars representing where the Colossus of Rhodes potentially stood. The one in the foreground represents one leg and on the other side you can see a matching pillar for his other leg. ✈️🗺️ #TravelAddicts

Well, this isn't the weather I was hoping for in Greece! Luckily there is a good Greek restaurant just down the street from where I'm staying so I'll at least still get to enjoy Greek food!

I didn't get a chance to visit Fisherman's Bastion last time I visited Budapest, and was absolutely blown away by how beautiful it is! ✈️🗺️ #TravelAddicts

I had two interviews this week and just got offered the job at my first choice so I'm very excited! It's temporary until summer, but makes me feel more confident about interviews for next year. It's also only two days a week which means if I find cheap flights I can still sneak in a trip or two!
