Goodnight from Schmitten, who had six (6) crunchy treats but turned her nose up at a Delectables tube treat. Only Tiki tubes from now on, please.

Scenes at the airport (I had a lot of waiting time) included a perfect but closed diner setup - sad to see but I couldn’t envision wanting a full on meal getting off the plane, either.

Successfully at the airport in time for the grand sum of $12, I even have time for tea. Niece plane is in a queue, as she can see from the tail-cam.

I’ve made to Jamaica - sadly in the middle of Queens, vs the funky one.

Good morning from a chilly grey day and flat cats. Yoga this morning then last prep and a trip to the airport to pick up niece 2 for a 2-week stay.

Schmitten snoozing through Ready or Not 2 on the cushion between us. She never used to sit with us, so we feel honoured.

Got to watch this drum band and thought how the upward arm movements, let alone the drumming, must be incredible exercise.

This is a fun bridge to go over in the subway, below the bike lane and above the roadway.

We get this pie for special occasions in our household, and never regret it. This is the salty chocolate chess pie from Petee’s Pie, an old school place on the lower east side.
