FurAffinity (a furry focused online art gallery) is looking for funding after refusing to comply with advertiser demands. And oh boy are some of those advertiser demands pretty ridiculous. (alt text added)

A post from a FurAffinity developer blog which says:

What makes this situation frustrating is that the bar for what advertisers consider "adult content" is very very low. For example they consider plus size characters, two characters hugging, and "barbie doll nudity" to be adult content, despite these being normal everyday things that are not adult at all. This is why you may see other sites with restrictions on how characters cant be posed or dressed "too provocatively."

We receive a daily list of items that they have flagged as violations and have to sort through them. If they're legitimate violations, we re-rate them. If they aren't, we don't touch them. Submissions that are not violations of our policies are still held against us.

We have had many email conversations, Zoom calls, and even an in-person meeting with representatives to help resolve this to no avail.

Getting the boys in on the Halloween mood! #MeetTheMischief #PetRat

Photo of four rats on a table set up as roaming area.

The four fancy rats surrounding a Halloween decoration, in the shape of a white human hand resting on its fingertips. The wrist facing upwards, meant as a holder for a candle. Instead being used as a food bowl with oats for the rats.

CSP being pressed to take even just /kissing/ off their asset store and FA being told that plus sized characters are considered adult should be a giant waving red flag to folks. Sex workers have /always/ been right to say these policies never stop with 1 type of content. They always wanna ban more.

This weird desire to redeem Geller as soon as possible feels like a combo of people not wanting to lose him as a creator and also the fear that they themselves could create something as large as Geller and lose it overnight. They don't understand that part of redemption is the consequences.

With the new skirt shape (rectangles instead of circles) and style (pleats), the cathedral skirt needed some major changes… so I drew a bunch more elements for a new cathedral 2.0! #art

Now that we're making box skirts instead of circle skirts, I can work on skirt designs that would have been really difficult to make work on a circle, like this forest glade design! #art #original

Mock-up of a Maya Kern Pocket Dimension skirt featuring a moody, glowing forest scene in shades of olive green and black. Tall silhouetted trees surround a softly lit forest floor dotted with tiny glowing lights. The image shows a model wearing the skirt alongside front and back views of the design. A note states that the mock-up may differ from the final product.

I'm not doomed, I'm just late

A comic about feeling doomed. Bex is lay on the floor with her head down. She says, "It's too late for me... I fucked everything up... I took too long..." She suddenly lifts her head and says, "then again, I'm always late..." Sitting up, she says, "And it's usually fine..." Finally standing on her feet, she says, "So why am I worrying about it?"
