Has anyone else seen Jacob Geller's video on execution? Feels a bit relevant right now

Unless you're me, in which case people respond to every attempt at riffing on a joke with patronizing condescension like I'm obviously too fucking incompetent to ever comprehend that It's A Joke™️ 🙄

Been using Aleppo soap for almost a week now and I'm thinking it might be making a difference

How tf do people know when someone actually considers them a friend

Tbh I don't really understand how people can say 'I got in trouble but it was worth it'. How could it possibly be worth it?? You got IN TROUBLE!

I cannot fathom the logic of this argument. We're apparently not supposed to chip in to provide health care for those who can't afford it, so ... poor people fuck off? Are we meant to beg like medieval lepers? Just sit around praying to be magically healed??

Has anyone ever written a story about Ezri doing the Zhiantara? There's so much potential for emotion there now that, in addition to everything they dealt with last time, somebody is also going to have to assume the mantle of their beloved friend and coworker Jadzia

My *engineering university* had history courses. Nobody except me ever took more than one or two, but we certainly had them.

Unrelated fun fact I once starred in a summer production of How To Eat Fried Worms when I was about 9 or 10 years old There were so many of us that I only got to appear in one scene and also we all had to play boys because there were basically no boys in the class and no girls in the play

Who needs gas when your communist government has invested heavily in the infrastructure to support electric cars

My personal first world problem is getting a satin pillowcase for the sake of my hair but hating how the texture feels against my face 😂 (got a bonnet too but that baby does NOT like to stay on my head)

Shit, I remember when we were all saying how 10K was a ridiculous amount to blow on your wedding, and now people are spending that much and more on JUST THE FUCKING DRESS Like how does the marriage even work out after that

I would be the worst person to have in your posse on Say Yes To The Dress because I would spend the whole time being like 'I can't believe y'all are spending an entire security deposit on something to wear once' Also asking what % goes to the designers vs the people who did the actual work

You gotta love JAFF authors On one hand it's 'here's my treatise on 18th century apothecarial accoutrements' or 'watch me avoid using the word blackmail in my blackmail story because I can't find an attestation before 1825' And then there's the people who will write 'Sir Lucas' and not even care
