Quick pic of a few of the new card designs I have this year - the Cardinal has also been turned into a card (the CARDinal) but I completely forgot that it existed when I was taking these photos, oops! All cards are blank on the inside and made 100% right here in Nova Scotia!

One of my new ornaments for this year - the Running Hare. I really love this one even though cutting out the layers, staining the wood, and glueing them together is a pain, haha. The stained wood is so lovely with the red brown tones in the hare, who is definitely not in their normal winter colours!

Some of you might remember this little guy from my WIP pile (I had three different versions of this... 🤷). Well, he's all done and being turned into *things* First up is the keychain set against a stand of moss covered trees in my backyard.

The Surfside Studio Tour is my first event this fall and is right in my own backyard! Iris of @seastarpottery will be hosting me and Marlene @seaforthstudio again this year in her studio on Causeway Road!

Another gem from the part of my file storage system that needs to be organized is this sticker sheet I did for @dartmouthmakers in 2019 (along with the poster art!). Applications are still open for 2026's Winter Market, so go apply!!!

While searching (maybe in vain 😩 ) for an old sticker design I want to reprint in a new finish, I've been travelling through the 10+ year old art banks, haha. This was an old PreShrunk from a loooong time ago that I'd forgotten about, but still like. I think I'd like to do an updated version?

Throwback to this sweet little frog and cat tails design. I just love how the little froggies turned out! I'm working on my new online shop behind the scenes and telling myself that getting to revisit the photos is a treat, not a tedious task, lol. 😅 #stationery #frogpond #greenfrog

We are packing up the last bits of stock into the trailer and getting ready to hit the road for Fredericton! Animaritime starts tomorrow at 1pm, and you can find me at Booth V19 with all kinds of new art, plus some originals! Hope to see you there! 🌈 #Animaritime #showschedule #roadtrip #animecon

With Geekorium just finished, the next show is hot on its heels - next weekend, I'll be in Fredericton for Animaritime! 💕 I'll have all my usual magnets, stickers, keychains, and coasters, and a bunch more stationery this year, including bookmarks!

This weekend!!! Spring Geequinox had to be delayed, so now we get Geekorium just after the Summer Solstice! We're at Cole Harbour Place this year, where they have AC and tonnes of parking. I'll have my new bookmarks and stationary with me, as well as my usual nerdy fare like magnets and stickers!

WIP Wednesday - Hat Mouse joins the Stardew Valley series I've apparently started. 🤷 And I inked Stump #1 from the WIP pile on my desk. Still don't know what it was originally for, but I think it'll make a nice sticker and magnet! #WIP #inking #StardewValley #FairyHouse #schillustrations

This is a little garter snake I found in the poppy patch a while back - they were so small and a bit more brown than usual, so I watched for a while until they booked it into the blackberries. There are lots of little snakes around, but I rarely get to see them, they're so skittish!

Loki, product photo supurrvisor, quality control checking the flowers to make sure the green bits aren't actually treats for him (don't worry, I keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't eat things he shouldn't as he is very sweet and also very dumb). #sticker #snake #blackcat #productphotography

This is a WIP of a TTRPG token I'm working on to help in those situations where you are typically splitting the party to achieve a goal that requires planning of some sort. This is my first test print and I'm pretty pleased with it, despite having spelled "previously" wrong 😅

My first show of the Summer Season (shhh, I know it's technically not summer until late June) and my one trip yearly to Cape Breton! As well as D&D tools and stationery, I'll be bringing my ornaments with me this time to give folks who don't travel to HRM a chance to see them!

010

Sarah Christie Illustration @sarahcillustration.bsky.social · 16/04/2026

Aaaand, my second market of the year is Halifax Crafters Spring Market! May 2nd-3rd at The Lighthouse Centre in Downtown Halifax! It's a great show to find something for Mother's Day (at least, that's what I'll be doing when I'm not at my table, haha). #DowntownHalifax #2026showschedule

Sarah Christie Illustration @sarahcillustration.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

My first market of the year will be the Dartmouth Makers Ikea Pop Up at the end of the month, on April 25-26th! As the name of the show implies, it will be at the Dartmouth Crossing IKEA (upstairs, next to the food court). I'm already busy as a beaver in the studio, so hope to see you there!

The initiative tracker notepad, where you can record your triumphs, near misses, and outright follies. I am usually a pencil-person for D&D, but I use pen in this notepad 🤷 It's 4,25" x 5,5" and 50 pages. Unless you have a party of murder hobos, one pad should last you well beyond your campaign!

010

Sarah Christie Illustration @sarahcillustration.bsky.social · 25/02/2026

It doesn't come through in the sticker at all, but every book in the bookcase has gold paint along the spine and all the paintings on the wall are in gold frames. ☺️ It's a great time of year to get cozy in your favourite chair with a nice cup of tea and a good book! #acornhouse #mouse #cozy #acorn

I have plans to make more stickers from Stardew Valley, I'm not sure if they'll be a sheet (so smaller stickers) or standalone diecut (3"x3" or so) like the one in the photo. My list is the Wizard's Tower, Community Centre, Pierre's, and the Travelling Merchant. Do you guys have any favourites?

Sarah Christie Illustration @sarahcillustration.bsky.social · 18/02/2026

I shared this art a billion times last year, but not as a sticker, so here we go. These are all photos for my new online shop that, barring a miracle, won't be ready before early summer. #frog #greenfrog #frogsticker #vinylsticker #watercolour #watercolor #schillustrations #littleguy

Another new thing that I'm excited about is this Writeable Book Tracker Bookmark! There are 14 spots to write in your titles, and one smaller spot for the year/months. It's on nice, sturdy paper, and is not laminated so you can easily write with a variety of pens.

010

Sarah Christie Illustration @sarahcillustration.bsky.social · 11/02/2026

This is one of my new designs this year - folks really responded well to cozy, cottagy, garden witchy art last year and I'd be lying if I said drawing little frogs and bundles of dried flowers wasn't my comfort subject, haha.

Sarah Christie Illustration @sarahcillustration.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

I lost this piece right after I finished sketching it out & found it again last week... after I had finished painting a redraw, haha. Since I'm really enjoying working on collections of little things lately I decided to ink it and I'll pick away at it while painting other things in the coming month.

Because product photography is my life lately, here's the cover (minus text) for the TTRPG-themed mini wholesale brochure I've started putting together. I may hold off on releasing it until the fall but in the meantime enjoy these maps I drew a while ago! #ttrpg #maps #handdrawnmaps

I just got a reorder of some stickers, and didn't realize they were being done with a matte laminate instead of the default glossy (it was part of a special and I missed that info in the description). I do really like how they look, though... so maybe there will be more matte stickers in 2026? 🤔

The little froggie printed so beautifully as a keychain, this is def a design I'm keeping a copy of for myself! I want to paint more frogs and little critters in the new year, eventually I'd like to make a series of native species. 🐸 I'll have him with me for the first time at @halcon_scificon !

Keychain bin 1 of 2 is officially as stuffed as it can be, haha. The second box still has a bit of room to grow... so I'm not officially in trouble re: storage until next year. 😅 #acrylickeychain #storage #keychainstorage #studiolife #BtS

I have two new designs for this fall and I absolutely LOVE them both! First up, and like the other, I've shown this before in magnet form, is the Snail and Mushrooms design. I took advantage of lovely weather the other day to crawl around in the mud and take some photos in the moss, haha.

Sohier was able to stop by for @teapothecarytea 's grand opening today and it's looking really nice in there!!! They'll be open until 7pm today, and then reopening tomorrow (Saturday) from 11am - 5pm. So, check them out at 2739 Agricola St. I can't wait to get down myself to have a look!!!

By popular demand, the Stardew Valley Farmhouse as a magnet will be debuting at HalCon next month! I'll be in a nursing home babbling about the flying snakes (fish???) in the mines one day. I think this is the most I've ever replayed a game... #stardewvalley #farmhouse #watercolour #watercolor

A closer-up shot of one of my new favourites for this season. I'm going to try to photograph them all as I card them and schedule a bunch of posts. I'm so bad about sharing what I'm actually making, lol.

You can find me at IKEA with Dartmouth Makers for my last show of the summer this coming weekend! We'll be upstairs in the Community Room, which is next to the food court, and admission is free! Bide a While will be accepting donations at the entrance (vote cats vs dogs!!!) 11am - 4pm both days!

It was such a good time in the spring that Sips & Sorcery and Propeller got together to make it happen for a summer version! We'll be in the lower part of the Arcade from 10am - 4pm on Saturday, August 16th! Admission is free if you just want to pop in to look around 🌈

Sarah Christie Illustration @sarahcillustration.bsky.social · 05/08/2025

A little sketch-painting I did in an attempt to simplify, both in the shapes/details and colours. This is mostly hunter green & imidazolone brown with tiny touches of ultramarine. My challenge is figuring out a way to get the gold to scan nicely, which you'd think I would know by now, haha

Another peek at a new notepad design, this one is the Frog Pond, which has already been introduced to the world as a sticky note. I just love these little froggies, I've also turned them into bookmarks! 💚 🐸 💚

Little snippet of a new notepad design! ✨ I have a bunch of new notepad designs ready for this fall - some more nerdy designs, but also some froggies, lupines, and moths! I'm so happy that people are loving the notepads, they are a blast to make!

I know I've posted this original before but here it is again because I love it. Ever since I mentioned in a reel that the shape of it would make a nice ornament, I've had requests to follow through with that thought, so expect to see it added to the ornament lineup for 2025!
