Ironworkers 63 Training Center is a beautiful building of curtain wall glass located at 2523 Lexington in Broadview, Illinois and was built in 2025. Local 63 represents ironworkers performing architectural and ornamental ironwork.

Saint Michael the Archangel, built in 1907 in the Polish Cathedral style, is located at E. 83rd Street and South Shore Drive in the South Chicago neighborhood of Chicago. The parish was closed in 2021.

Built in 1961, the former Terminal Building at Meigs Field is now a field house for the Chicago Park District’s Northerly Island Park. In 2003, Chicago demolished—by gouging large x-marks in the runway in the middle of the night—the small airport along the lake front to create a lovely park.

The Meyercord Company building at 5323 W. Lake Street in Chicago was designed by architects Abel Faidy and Julius Floto in the 1930s and still is a striking building. The Meyercord Company made signs and decals.

The Chicago Temple Building was completed in 1924 and is located at 77 W. Washington in Chicago. The gothic building is home to offices and features the Sky Chapel on the 23rd floor.

Built in 1922, the Wells Street Bridge in downtown Chicago is a double decker span across the Chicago River. The upper deck carries the CTA’s Brown and Purple line trains. The lower deck carries vehicles, bikes, and pedestrians.
