It’s raining outside today & when I called the hooligans to come inside from doing their noon poops, Jasper did not come in. I went out in the rain & found him hiding from the rain under a honeysuckle bush. Honestly, I think Jasper is convinced that he will melt if he gets rained on… 💦💧💦

Eli had a second Mr. Toad encounter this afternoon & needs to snuggle under some blankets to recover. Mr. Toad was bathing in the Pyrex pan of water I leave out for the birds & critters & hopped out when Eli was pooping nearby. Poor Eli. I think he now suffers from Post Toad Stress Disorder… 🐸

I started unpacking my strings of sparkly twinkle lights today. You know the drill: checking to see what works & endlessly untangling wires. About half way through I set a string of lights down & Alouette ignored my warnings & got totally tangled up in the lights! Now she’s a Sparkle Dog! 💎💎💎

I bought a cauldron shaped slow-cooker because I’m an adult & can do what I want.🎃 Anyway, I was planning on making some Leek Soup as its maiden voyage tomorrow. However, Jasper got to it first & I fear he has stirred up some potion in it. He looks shady as hell so now I’m worried.. 😱

It rained all day yesterday, and Picky-Poop-Spot-Picker Jasper was forced to try to find a dry spot to do his business in. Luckily, there are bushes & trees in the yard that act as umbrellas, so he was successful in only getting slightly damp while pooping. 💩☔️💩

Jasper takes freeking forever to poop when he is outside doing his business. He searches & searches for the Perfect Poop Spot, with many side quests to borkborkbork at squirrels, check his PeeMail, scope out the neighbor’s cat & so on. “Hurry up!” Is not in his vocabulary. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Eli is recovering from a terrifying encounter he had with a toad in the backyard. Mr Toad was hopping through the grass when he & Eli crossed paths. Poor Eli jumped 3 feet in the air & made it back inside the house in record time. Now he’s traumatized. I have no normal dogs. 🙄

Jasper has become an accidental photographer! He took about 40 selfies of himself by standing on the white button on the camera on my iPhone. Most of his photos were blurry messes or photos of his left nostril, however this one is not too bad for an accidental selfie. 🤣
